  • Liz and Jamie were easily available and always prompt in responding. My initial phone call with Liz felt like I was talking to a long-time friend and played a large part in our contracting with Liz and Jamie.

  • Jamie and his assistant Casey were both dressed in tuxedos to match the level of formality of our reception. Both Jamie and Liz were always kind, courteous and tons of fun in all forms of communication with us.

  • Jamie incorporated a lot of music from our personal library that helped to make our event extra-special. He was lively and got plenty of people involved and on the dance floor (which was a big deal for our rather small-ish crowd).

  • My fiancé and I spent a lot of time thinking about our music selections, perusing Jamie's on-line library and coming up with a list of "do play" and "don't play." The selection list was long enough to allow Jamie some freedom within it, and he did a great job. The flow between songs was great, as was the selection during dinner, cake cutting, etc.

  • The lights enhanced the beauty of the reception room without looking tacky and overdone.

  • Again, working with Liz and Jamie was a real pleasure. It really felt like we'd been friends forever and they were very accommodating in meeting with us (since we live 2 hours away). Liz never took longer than 24 hours to respond to an email and they were available to us by house and cell phone as needed. They took extra care to make sure they had a list of all our vendors to help ensure that the reception went off without a hitch. Not only that, at our request, they were able to set up in two separate locations at our reception (cocktail reception outdoors and dinner reception indoors). The music added great atmosphere for both.

  • Jamie and Liz had great ideas and suggestions for things we had not thought about or were neutral about in addition to being very enthusiastic about incorporating the ideas we had come up with. They were excellent at thinking about the flow of the reception and even worked with our catering manager to coordinate some music with the serving of our dinner (which was a smash hit with our guests and us!)

  • The website was great in terms of answering some initial questions before we contracted Jamie. I found it most helpful while doing some of the planning online (wedding details, playlists, music library, etc.) It made our in-person planning session go more smoothly and quickly.
• Overall Performance Rating: Excellent
  • I would recommend Jamie and Liz without hesitation to anyone for any type of event. I would use them again if I had to do it all over again. We were especially pleased with our "Love Story," which was a unique component of Jamie's performance (compared to other DJ services). My husband is a musician and had VERY particular ideas about how the reception music and DJ "should" be... Jamie lived up to his every expectation (and then some).

  • Jamie does such a great job that a friend of ours at the wedding booked him for hers. If that doesn't tell you something than nothing will.  Jamie is totally professional but personal to your special event as well.

  • Jamie makes everything flow and work during the entire event. It makes it so much more enjoyable for those attending the event. I knew going in that I wouldn't have to worry about anything once we arrived at the reception. And I didn't, Jamie took the lead and made the flow of events from dinner to bouquet toss to dancing etc.... seem effortless.

  • Jamie and his staff were of course very professional looking. I know he will dress however people want him to. We were a little less formal for our wedding so he wore a Hawaiian shirt and khakis. Perfect for us because it fit the feel of our wedding and matched our honeymoon location.

  • There is absolutely NO CHEESE in Jamie's system. It is top notch equipment that you really don't even expect to see at a wedding reception. He has lights and great sound equipment. More like you would see for a band in a club or something. Great system equals great results!

  • Jamie makes the music selection as much up to you as you do or do not want. We had some music for sure that we wanted played. But for the most part just wanted it to fit the flow of the evening. Up beat, slow dance or jazz/instrumental for dinner... etc.. He does a great job with this on his own but is more than willing to do whatever you would like him to do as well. He also does a great job with playing people's requests. EVEN obscure clogging....... music for certain people. :)

We could not have been more pleased with Jamie's PortaParty! During the many months of planning a wedding, the bride and groom are faced with so many decisions that when it came to songs being played at the reception (which can make or break the event), we just couldn't do it! We kind of ball parked the music style but left the songs played completely up to Jamie and Liz - and they did a fantastic job! They played fun dance songs while still keeping it tasteful for our older and work guests. They were also very helpful in suggestions for sticky situations! They were great in keeping the party going by making sure all the formalities of the wedding were done but the fun was still going on! We highly recommend Jamie's PortaParty - you won't be disappointed!

Nothing can be improved because it was all perfect! Absolutely no complaints could be made, even if I was looking for something to complain about.

Comments:

The service far exceeded our expectations. May wife and I planned the whole wedding, from the food & drinks to the table settings & decorations so we had alot to think about but Jamie was there setting up way before anything else was done. He put our mind at ease and was nothing but professional. He took every request that my wife and I and also our guests had and incorporated the songs into the nights events. We could not be happier and we will be using their services again in the future.

"I booked Jamie for my best friend's wedding, sight-unseen. I heard no demos, did no research... I was pretty much playing roulette for my best friend's biggest day of her life! IT WAS ALL WORTH IT! Jamie did an awesome job. I have never been to a wedding where everyone was up and dancing. He knows how to read the crowd and knows what people like!
